Menicon Ltd has launched its latest ground-breaking daily disposable lens, Miru 1day UpSide Toric.
Officially unveiled at the BCLA Focus Conference, the Miru 1day Upside Toric is the first of its kind to feature Smart Touch™ technology and completes Menicon’s family of Miru 1day Upside lenses.
Menicon’s ‘Smart Touch™’ packaging concept offers the easiest application and allows the inner surface of the lens to remain uncontaminated with the wearer only touching the outer surface of the lens.
The Miru 1day UpSide Toric features a sophisticated design which respects the eye’s natural shape, enhancing stability and comfort, allowing the lens to naturally orientate on the eye, regardless of how it is applied. Using a unique lens design, Menicon has created a new breathable ultra-low modulus material allowing hassle free handling and good shape retention.
Furthermore, the lens has built-in class 2 UV A&B filters offering year-round protection from harmful UV rays, further championing Menicon’s commitment to long-term eye health.

With the Miru UpSide family now complete, contact lenses are available in Sphere, Mutifocal and Toric. There are a range of online prescription calculators for multifocal and toric lenses which help to achieve first fit success and online videos to support patients on their new Miru contact lens journey.
