- Alcon, the global leader in eye care and a division of Novartis, has launched a brand new update to its Alcon Partnership Programme for 2018. With newly added features and enhanced benefits, the programme offers a partnership between Alcon and its customers, allowing them to flourish and work more effectively by receiving tools and support. First launched in 2017, the Alcon Partnership Programme was created specifically for independent practitioners to help support and reward them in delivering outstanding eye care. Predominantly focused on the Growth Rewards programme, offering practices the chance to be rewarded based on their growth, the programme has evolved this year to offer even more benefits to Alcon’s partner accounts.
Following feedback from opticians who stated that social media, digital advertising and online content were the areas they found most relevant to their changing business needs, Alcon is this year expanding its education portfolio by offering regular events with peer networking. The first set of these events will focus on Mastering Social Media & Digital Marketing, teaching attendees how to grow their contact lens practices using social platforms. Making social media easily accessible, partners can benefit from a library of digital assets to help drive communication with current and future patients.
By joining the programme and becoming a partner, customers can also benefit from priority access to Alcon’s popular education days, including its Presbyopia Days as well as the latest programme, Astigmatism Days, which are available to book now. Consisting of a blend of lectures and workshops, the education day offers partners the chance to focus and develop their skills in the field.
Ray Pasko, Business Unit Head of Vision Care at Alcon, comments: “As the global leader in eye care, we at Alcon share your passion about providing patients with what they need. That’s why we created the Alcon Partnership Programme, designed to support your growth and reward you for excellent eye care service. As an integral part of who we are and how we support independent opticians, we’re delighted to welcome new and existing partners to the updated programme.”
