20 20 Optical Services specialise in spectacle frame design and distribution for high quality British Brands. Joe Browns are the latest brand to venture into the eyewear market, bringing their remarkable designs to an exciting new audience. “Our passion lies in creating unique spectacle frames in collaboration with some of the best of British, for the style and satisfaction of the wearer.
Joe Browns are known for unique designs that you won’t find anywhere else on the high street, and we’re thrilled to be able to adapt their exceptional character into eyewear.” Says Mark Truss, Managing Director of 20 20 Optical Services Ltd
Joe Browns was founded in 1998, inspired by a group of friends enjoying a beer in a beach bar in Morfa Nefyn, North Wales, at the end of a great day on the surf. Fresh out of the sea, salt in their hair, laughing, joking and totally carefree, they were having an absolute blast. That was the essence, right there, of Joe Browns. FUN, SPONTANEOUS AND FREE! They decided there and then that this remarkable spirit would make the foundations of a great brand.
“We have built a successful lifestyle brand over the last 23 years, with having fun and feeling good at the heart of everything we do. During that time, we have established great relationships with various partners including Very, Next, Littlewoods, Freemans and the N Brown Group. In 2017 we began offering homeware, which was met with huge enthusiasm. Our latest spring/summer 2021 homeware collection has been our best-selling yet. We can only hope that this latest step into eyewear is as well received and successful as our previous projects and partnerships. It’s certainly an exciting step in product development for the business, and we’re confident 20 20 Optical Services have the knowledge and expertise to translate the Joe Browns message into remarkable spectacles and sunglasses for many to enjoy.” Tracey Hepton, Marketing Director at Joe Browns.
20 20 Optical Services aim to have the Joe Browns eyewear range ready for launch later this year, so watch this space for more information
